Dear LWES Families,

Happy Summer!  We hope you are enjoying summer and spending time with family and friends.  We are busy at work here as we prepare for the upcoming school year. 

As you know, Mrs. Susan Brown retired as the principal of LWES effective June 30th and a new administrative team was named by the Board of Education.  As the new administrative team, we wanted to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and share our personal and professional experiences with you as to assist with the transition. 

We are happy and excited to take on our administrative journey together and serve the Laurel Woods community.  It is going to be a great year as we focus on building relationships, making connections, and ensuring student engagement. 

We would like to personally invite all of our families to have popsicles on the playground with us.  Please stop by on one of the following dates: 

• Wednesday, July 17th from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Thursday, July 25th from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Friday, July 26th from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
