Dear Parents/Guardians:
Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled for February 12th and 13th. Please also note that students attend school half-day until 12:30 PM on both February 12th & 13th. Once again conference registration will take place using the web-based application, PickAtime. PickAtime registration will open up on Thursday, January 29th @ 3:30 PM and close on Tuesday, February 10th @ 12:00 AM.
Due to the revised school calendar, all Howard County Public Schools will offer a fewer number of conference slots during February parent-teacher conferences. The number of slots offered reflects recent trends with regard to parent attendance during February conferences. Parent participation is encouraged but remains optional. Attendance during February conferences will continue to be closely monitored to determine if future adjustments to the school calendar are needed. Our conferences will be 15 minutes rather than 20 minutes in order to make more slots available to our parents.
We will conduct conferences during the following times:
Thursday, February 12 1:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Friday, February 13 1:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
* The majority of our staff will hold conferences on Thursday afternoon and Thursday evening, and will not be available on Friday.
