Students will enjoy a special visit from United Way volunteers who will read books and engage students in literacy

Parents of Wizard of Oz students will meet virtually to discuss costumes and other show related happenings such as tickets, shout outs, madness weeks and show expectations.

Third grade students will enjoy a visit to the Savage Branch Public Library, where they'll learn about library resources, take part in a scavenger hunt, and check out books with their own library cards.

During Black History Month, parents and community members will join our elementary students for a fun and engaging reading experience that celebrates stories, learning, and community.

Students will shine a light on the incredible contributions African Americans have made to our society! Using laser lights, students will explore history in a fun, hands-on way that blends learning, creativity, and excitement while celebrating innovation and achievement.

Invited students and families that were identified to attend a targeted Math Facts Night. The learning session is from 4 p.m. to 5p.m. and dinner will follow.

Students will enjoy a fun and memorable field trip to Maryland Zoo in Baltimore! Alongside their chaperone and classmates, students will explore the zoo, observing a variety of animals and learning about their habitats. This special outing offers a wonderful opportunity for curiosity, discovery, and shared experiences with friends

Parents/Families are invited to come into the classrooms to explore the coral reef unit project that we have been working on in quarter 2. Families will go on a scavenger hunt with their child to locate a variety of animals, plants and Earth features of the coral reef environment.
