Administration and staff will recognize and thank our community partners and parent volunteers for their generous support of school initiatives and programs throughout the year. We are grateful for the time, care, and partnership they have shared in support of our students, families, and school community.

Howard County Public Library (HCPL) will be visiting during Related Arts to share exciting book recommendations and all the details about this year's Summer Reading Program with each grade. Students will learn how to participate, track their reading, and enjoy a summer full of great books and fun activities!

Former LWES Students graduating from High School will come to visit our school.

This rehearsal will focus on preparing 4th grade orchestra students for the upcoming Spring Concert. Students will work on their concert repertoire, with emphasis on tone production, intonation, rhythm accuracy, and ensemble coordination.

This rehearsal will focus on preparing 5th grade orchestra students for the upcoming Spring Concert. Students will work on their concert repertoire, with emphasis on tone production, intonation, rhythm accuracy, and ensemble coordination.

This dress rehearsal will bring together all 4th and 5th grade band students for a full ensemble run-through in preparation for the Spring Concert. Students will rehearse concert procedures, including entering and exiting the stage, proper performance posture, and concert etiquette.

We're excited to welcome our incoming kindergarten students and their families to Kindergarten Transition Night. Families and students will learn more about kindergarten and will have a chance to meet with staff, classmates and see the school environment. Vision and hearing re-screening will be provided for students who need a follow-up screening. This helps ensure we are able to accurately support student health and learning needs.
