Dear LWES Families,

In addition to Chromebooks HCPSS already owns, the Board of Education approved the purchase of additional devices to help remove technology barriers and advance equitable student learning outcomes. As such, HCPSS will provide 1:1 devices for elementary and middle school students, and, until additional devices are procured, will provide devices upon request to high school students who do not have access to personal devices.

Every student entering grades pre-kindergarten through 8 will be provided with a Chromebook; parents/guardians do not need to do anything to request this device. Any student who borrowed a Chromebook for spring or summer learning may continue to use that device during the 2020-2021 school year. If you missed the distribution of the Chromebooks at LWES, please call the front office to set up an appointment time to come and get a Chromebook.
